KIRSTEN SAVAGE
About the Artist
Kirsten Savage was
born in Maryland in 1979 and resided in Baltimore while attending the
prestigious Maryland Institute College of Art. Savage relocated to Colorado
in 2001, which proved to be a true haven for her artistic dreams. She served
as the Director of the Colorado Coalition of Artists in 2005 and has found an
appreciation for her art in Denver, Vail, and in her hometown of Fort
Collins.
Savage’s powerful imagination and strong technical skills translate into a unique, innovative style. Her creative curiosity delves into the far reaches of dreams, stories, and current events and examines the experiences of the people in her life. Savage’s art offers open-ended concepts that encourage critical thinking, inspire imagination, and cultivate the creative spirit in all of us.
