ACHIEVEMENTS

• Director of the Colorado Coalition of Artists (COCOA) 2005

• Member of the Colorado Coalition of Artists 2003-present

• Accepted into the student section of the Society of Illustrators Annual 2001

• Received the MICA scholarship, the Harford Mall scholarship, and was recognized as a Maryland Distinguished Scholar 1997-2001

• Recognized on the Dean’s List for 8 consecutive semesters, MICA 1997-2001

EXPERIENCE

• Coordinated a free weekly community portrait group, COCOA, Ft. Collins, CO 2004-2006

• Assisted with the installation of community arts space, Capsule Gallery, Denver, CO 2006

• Instructed a teen oils class at Westin Arts Academy, Ft. Collins, CO 2004-2005

• Produced 6 paintings for a permanent installation of interpretive signs on the Frasier-to-Granby Trail and Scenic Byway, Granby, CO 2004

• Instructed an elementary aged painting class at Flying Colors Art School, CO 2003

• Mentored an after school art program in Baltimore City through MICA’s Community Arts Partnership program 2001

• Interned for the Gomez Gallery in Baltimore, MD, Assisted with the installation, promotion, organization, packaging and framing of the artwork 1999
