About the Artist
I am an artist who paints in oils and watercolors.
Landscape, still life and flowers are my favorite subjects. Color is a vital part of each painting experience I have. Interpreting on canvas or paper the beauty of nature is what my life is all about. I have painted since 1996 after not painting for 38 years. I love to express a conception of reality in what I paint but I try to make it my vision and not that of a camera. I paint in Plein Air with Plein Air Painters of Estes Park and with the Plein Air painters of Colorado. I also paint from set up still life and flowers in all their glory in nature. I wait anxiously for the spring and summer to unveil the beauty of the world.
